LA PARARE is an old stone “bergerie” dating back to the 18 th century and here we have found that special place we've been dreaming of whilst working and traveling abroad. Hopefully you too will find what you are looking for – may it be tranquility, beauty or romance.
The area offers harmony and fresh air (we are at 500m altitude) and you can really enjoy the healthy outdoors, with hikes, bike tours, tennis and horseback riding. Close by is the city of NICE offering art, culture, shopping and entertainment, as well as some of the best beaches of the Riviera.
Not far away is MONACO with the spectacular golf course Mont Agel, and a little further the Italian border and the picturesque little cities of VENTIMIGLIA, SAN REMO and BORDIGHERA. Heading the other way, within easy reach, are the beautiful villages that PROVENCE and the Côte d'Azur is so well known for (St Jean Cap Ferrat, Villefranche, St Paul de Vence, Eze, Cotignac…..).
What made us settle here in the French Riviera is mainly the beauty of the nature and the closeness to some of the most beautiful areas in France. You can visit Parc du Mercantour and the Vallee des Merveilles and we are not far from Var, another area we have fallen in love with.
