When decorating our house, we have put a lot of time and efforts in to our search for high quality and innovative materials. One of our best finds is the waxed concrete that we’ve used in one of the bathrooms as well as in the kitchen. It can be described as the modern version of “tadelact” a material used a lot in North Africa . The advantage with the waxed concrete is that you don’t need anyone to do it for you, and it’s strong and easy to work with. Our supplier is Ocean, based in La Ciotat next to Marseille, and they also have an agent in Amsterdam .
