Table d’hotes – Dinner

We do Table d’hotes (dinner) 1-2 times per week – this is a set menu and we all eat together. The
schedule is made per week according to the demand (min 8 people total). €35-50 per person (three
courses and including aperitif, wine, coffee or tea).

l’épicerie dei pichouns in Chateauneuf Villevieille In the little shop in the village: Epicerie dei Pichoun you can find all you need for your picnic, and they can also serve a light lunch. During the summer, they occasionally organise dinners when there is an animation in the village – not to be missed.

Chez Rose, Chateauneuf Villevieille: within walking distance in the village.

Les Tchitchou’s, Contes. Varied menu as well as pizzas. Very popular and good value for money –
best to book.

Fleur de Thym, Contes just a short drive from here. Nice restaurant with good service.

Moulin de l’Oliveraie, Blausasc: Interesting menu and very nice presentation.

Parcours, Falicon: A very good restaurant – one of our absolute favourites. Innovative kitchen,
excellent wines in a modern setting with a beautiful view over the bay of Nice.

Auberge de la Madone, Peillon: (one Michelin star) Classical French restaurant with a wonderful
terrace with a view of one ot the most beautiful villages in the area.

Paloma beach, St Jean Cap Ferrat: You can spend the day on the beach and stay for dinner at
the lovely restaurant and watch the lights go on along the coast all the way to Monaco. One of
the most romantic settings there is.

La Pinede, Cap D’ail: Tucked away just down by the sea. A lunch here is a real treat, to be followed by an afternoon snooze on the rocks. Heaven! Alternatively, arrive in the afternoon for a swim from the rocks and then enjoy a sun-downer on the terrace before dinner.

Mirazur, Menton: (one Michelin star) Just next to the Italian border, beautiful setting, and very good
and innovative kitchen.

L’Apparte, Villefranche sur Mer: Very nice ambiance in the village itself, and Apparté is in rue
Obscure – a vaulted street inside the village. Local kitchen with an interesting twist and very nice

Cafe de la Fontaine, La Turbie: Brasserie style offering a very good value for money. Popular so best to book during the summer at least.

Le Locale, Nice: Italian both delicatessen and restaurant down by the port.

Saveurs et Anthocyanes, Nice: Here you can eat both lunch and dinner, well prepared traditional dishes, cheese platter and for dessert – the ice cream is excellent! Antoine will help you find a good bottle and if you don’t finish it, bring it home. “Our” side of Nice, easy access to both the center as well as the old town.

Cave Wilson, Nice: Wide selection of wines, also by the glass and possibility to eat.
The owner speaks very good English.

The program for these gastronomic classes : On the Friday there can be a wine tasting or a session around some other product – olive oil for example.

  • On Saturday we meet at 16.00 in the kitchen of Parcours in Falicon. There is a menu to prepare and around 8pm you will sit down to be served what has been prepared during the afternoon, accompanied by matching wines from the cellar.

The idea is to work in a relaxed ambiance offering both knowledge and pleasure. Then it’s just to bring the receipies home and impress friends and family wito your knowledge and abilities.
